PROGRAMMING NOTE from the Author and Archivist

So obviously I just stopped blogging on this platform. I'll get back to it eventually. Or not. I'm taking a break from all social media. It seemed necessary for my mental health.

The last few years have been busy and … challenging:

- 2015 Happened.
- 2016 Let's call it The Lost Year. (Obviously words failed me.)
- 2017 about broke me. Literally. Mentally.
- 2018 was ridiculous, proving 2017 was just a warm up. (Good thing I was already broken so it couldn't hurt as much.#2018TrashCanFire I thought things were going okay, but maybe not?)

- 2019 was such a blur. I know there were highlights, but then stuff happened and carried into the next year...

- And then in March#2020 really took a turn. Who can even categorize 2020? Do we dare?

I kinda want a do-over of some of the last few years. But life doesn’t work that way.

So for now, I'm hunkering down. Regrouping. Trying to stay safe and sort some stuff out.

Stay safe everyone. Stay well.

The Amazing Adventures of ... The Shushing Librarian

Do you ever have days when:

You can't see the forest for the trees?
Feel like you're drowning? Need to ask for help from a Higher Power?

You're not the only one!
Hang in there.

At least you weren't attacked by a mob of Killer PeepSnowmen.

I'm melting! Melting .....

I guess I was not aware of the existence of said Shushing Librarian, so the whole thing was a bit out there. WOW.

Now that's what I call quality entertainment from a real action hero(ine).

Admittedly I find the ending a bit scary. Lord knows I'm afraid of those peeps in all their forms. Something about chemical laden marshmallow covered in something resembling sugar that just doesn't quite appeal to my tastebuds.

And, yet, I eat Cheetos with the greatest of ease...

Peeps are frightening, but amazingly tasty!

you crack me up by the way, all innocent in your line of questioning. Maybe I'm off my rocker....hmmmmmmm

@anony -- MMMM. Cheetos.

@all -- me thinks that the SL neds to have more NYC adventures. If only I could do it without causing the NYPD to wonder about me.

"...without causing the NYPD to wonder about me." You're not at all concerned that us blog readers are already wondering about you? I joke, of course. Sort of...

I REALLY needed a laugh today. Thank goodness for the Shushing Librarian. I almost want to say I think you have too much time on your hands. But I know you don't!!
