PROGRAMMING NOTE from the Author and Archivist

So obviously I just stopped blogging on this platform. I'll get back to it eventually. Or not. I'm taking a break from all social media. It seemed necessary for my mental health.

The last few years have been busy and … challenging:

- 2015 Happened.
- 2016 Let's call it The Lost Year. (Obviously words failed me.)
- 2017 about broke me. Literally. Mentally.
- 2018 was ridiculous, proving 2017 was just a warm up. (Good thing I was already broken so it couldn't hurt as much.#2018TrashCanFire I thought things were going okay, but maybe not?)

- 2019 was such a blur. I know there were highlights, but then stuff happened and carried into the next year...

- And then in March#2020 really took a turn. Who can even categorize 2020? Do we dare?

I kinda want a do-over of some of the last few years. But life doesn’t work that way.

So for now, I'm hunkering down. Regrouping. Trying to stay safe and sort some stuff out.

Stay safe everyone. Stay well.

Found! Toy Society Drop #1225

That was FAST! She must have been on the pier while we were in the park!

Hopefully the other two are found soon.

Hey Folks! My husband and I were vacationing in Topsail Island, NC on Tuesday (06/01/10). We went to our favorite playground/pier overlooking the sound side of the island. I went to the car, and when I got back, I found my husband at the top of the slide. He said he had found something that said "Take me home, I'm yours", but he's always picking on me so I figured it was a joke. Then he brought down a ziplock bag with a little crocheted panda inside!!!! Being the avid stuffed animal lover that I am, I couldn't resist. I promptly removed him from the bag & carried him around the rest of the day. I am so enthused about this, because Topsail Island is one of my favorite places in the world! To experience something like this at Topsail couldn't have been more perfect! Enclosed is a picture of myself and my panda, who is being called Gaga. One thing though! I searched all over, and I didn't see an ID number ANYWHERE! The name on the bag & the card was Auntie Nettie. I don't know if this helps, but Auntie Nettie....if you're reading....you gave me another fond memory in Topsail Island. Thank you SO MUCH!!!!
