Made by: Auntie Nettie
Dropped by: Grandmary and Drew
When: December 15, 2010, around 10:30 a.m. MST
Where: Tonaquit Park, Saint George, UT (USA) near the swing set
Notes: Auntie Nettie has left a stash of stuffed animals for Grandmary to drop with her grandchildren, as part of their bonding time. Plus it's good for kids to learn to share things/give to others.
Grandmary is still getting the hang of this dropping business, although this isn't Drew's OR Grandmary's first experiences with leaving toys behind for others to find (see here or here.) They did forget to get a picture of the "release," but when questioned, Grandmary said that when she and Drew went back to the swing set later, the toy and bag were gone. Hopefully someone in Southern Utah enjoys their new stuffed bear.
Editor's Note:
Grandmary's Clarifications:
GrumpaMax and I went walking on the trails over by Tonaquint Park where Drew and I dropped the toy later in the afternoon to see if it were gone from the playscape. We also checked the garbage cans to be sure that it was not thrown away. I will get this toy drop thing down and will have to make a conscious effort to get my camera out and take more photos.
Stay tuned to The Toy Society to see if anyone writes in that they found it (though a lot of my drops aren't showing up on their site because I won't send them info through Flickr. Love the program. It's run by international volunteers.)
