Dear [Granddaughter],
How’s my granddaughter this morning? Hope you feal[sic] good and happy.
Oh I did enjoy my stay at your house. The bed slept good. The food was great. All were kind to me. Thanks ever so much for the gifts and everything.
Enjoyed your music and hope you will practice it and find joy now in this talent and greater joy and pleasure later as you entertain people and your self. God will smile upon you too.
Be nice to your family too. Oh yes its sometimes hard to be the oldest but oh so rewarding too.
Hope you study your book and learn lots from it.
